About The Position

The Gourmet Food Server is a seasonal position responsible for interacting with guests, making menu suggestions, taking orders, serving food, and presenting guest checks to restaurant customers. The role includes cleaning tables, setting up, and breaking down food service areas. The server provides Family Style Service at all times and interacts with culinary staff to relay guest orders. Adherence to kitchen sanitation standards and health code regulations is mandatory. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Food Server, preferably in a gourmet restaurant.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Casino Control Act & Attendant Regulations.
• Familiarity with company internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and make menu suggestions.
• Take orders and serve food to restaurant customers.
• Present guest checks to customers.
• Clean tables and set up food service areas.
• Break down food service areas after service.
• Provide Family Style Service.
• Interact with culinary staff to relay guest orders.
• Follow kitchen sanitation standards and health code regulations.
