About The Position

The Google Security Manager for Data Centers is responsible for overseeing the compliance, security, and risk management programs at the Data Center campus. This role involves managing site security incidents, escalations, and guard contract management, ensuring all physical security-related issues are addressed effectively. The position also requires providing after-hours on-call management support and participating in crisis management when necessary, while implementing compliance processes aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.
• 5 years of experience coordinating or managing resources for data center locations.
• 5 years of experience leading operational or project-based work and tasks.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years of experience coordinating or leading security.
• 4 years of experience managing incidents and crises.
• 2 years of experience with physical security system architecture, components, installation methods, administration, and troubleshooting.
• 2 years of experience with data center technologies, infrastructure, and methodologies.
• Experience planning security operations or strategy for security programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the compliance, security, and risk management program at the Data Center campus.
• Oversee site security incidents, escalations, and guard contract management.
• Provide after-hours on-call management support for security issues.
• Participate in emergent, large-scale event response or crisis management as needed.
• Implement compliance processes aligned with policies, standards, and legal requirements.
• Manage security-related costs through budget, forecasting, and invoice control.
• Assist management with financial analysis and input for security-related financial decisions.
