About The Position

We are seeking a certified, hands-on keyboard, Google platform specialist to be our resident subject matter expert on all things within the Google advertising ecosystem. This is a mid-level position for a self-motivated professional who lives and breathes Google Ads, YouTube, Display & Video 360 (DV360), and the constant evolution of these platforms. The ideal candidate will be a credentialed, hands-on expert, and a passionate contributor. You will not only be responsible for developing and guiding our clients' Google media strategies but also for managing our agency partner status.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing campaigns across the Google ad ecosystem, with a deep specialization in Google Ads, YouTube, and DV360.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing complex Google media strategies for a diverse range of clients.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising principles and experience with DSPs, specifically DV360.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both clients and internal teams.
  • A passion for teaching and mentoring others, with experience in a leadership or training capacity.
  • Google certifications (Ads, Analytics, etc.) are a must.
  • Prior experience in a marketing or advertising agency environment is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the agency's primary subject matter expert on all Google ad buying platforms, including Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), YouTube video campaigns, and Display & Video 360 (DV360).
  • Develop and champion high-impact Google media strategies for our clients, ensuring their campaigns are innovative, effective, and aligned with changing e-commerce business objectives.
  • Oversee the performance of all Google campaigns, providing campaign and global/enterprise level insights and recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
  • Proactively monitor, recommend and optimize Google campaigns, manage agency benchmarks for the different tactics, research the latest trends, product updates, and platform changes within the Google ecosystem.
  • Create and lead training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs to enhance the skills of our agency's media buyers and strategists.
  • Work closely with account managers, creative teams, social media team and data analysts to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client campaigns, omni-channel keyword strategies and reporting.
