Google Cloud Platform Architect and Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to “harness the power of the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As an experienced cloud computing and DevOps architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. Here, you’ll oversee our team of experts and use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to guide your clients as they modernize their Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help evangelize and architect a multi-cloud solution to help support our clients in the healthcare space. You’ll collaborate closely with fellow architects and engineers to architect, build, and deliver multi-cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to broaden your experience within a DevOps framework to lead, build, and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, OCI, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) labs, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our client’s challenges, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver and scale the right technical solutions. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with GCP, including FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments
  • 3+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary solutioning for cloud-based efforts, including automation, observability, and monitoring
  • Experience leading architecture for large engagements, including legacy migration and cloud system deployments
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems in GCP
  • Experience with GCP cloud-native data and AI services leveraging serverless architectures for data processing such as BigQuery, Dataplex, Vertex, and Gemini
  • Experience with DevOps best practices, including reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with GitOps and Terraform, CI/CD, and containerization or orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions, network architecture, and security principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using AWS services, including AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and Amazon RDS
  • Experience in healthcare or the public health domain
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Google Cloud Platform Certification such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer Certification
  • Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; Public Trust determination is required.
