About The Position

Google Cloud Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: Doing DevSecOps well means development and automation. Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires Infrastructure-as-Code ( IaC ) , scripting, and so met imes writing applications. Our cloud service broker team is looking for a developer with a strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform ( GCP ) infrastructure, containerization, and networking to make new cloud capabilities available in secure environments. Requirements

5+ years of experience building sof t war e solutions for secure government cloud environments
3+ years of experience implementing IaC using Terraform
2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions in GCP
Experience designing and automating the provisioning of GCP resources using IaC and automation tools
Experience working with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub / Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
Experience with code management tools such as Git or GitLab, in a collaborative team environment
Knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, VPCs, private connectivity, and TLS
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with sof t war e engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with sof t war e engineering
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice To Haves

Experience building, securing, and optimizing workloads on GCP
Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining cloud governance controls such as GCP organization policies and IAM best practices
