Pinehurst Country Club is currently recruiting a Seasonal Golf Teaching Professional! Summary: To develop and execute a first-class golf instruction program for the membership.

Requirements

PGA or LPGA member in good standing
Minimum 3-5 years of teaching and coaching experience
Driver’s license required
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work outdoors
Ability to work independently
Self-motivated and hardworking
Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow verbal instruction
Available to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Create, organize, and administer programs specifically targeting beginner golfers
Design, implement, and administer holiday events aimed at increasing participation
Provide instruction to members of all skill levels
Develop clinics, leagues, and events for non-traditional players
Assist with the Operation 36 golf program for juniors and adults
Create a welcoming environment for all students
Find opportunities to engage new golfers in a group atmosphere
Always be a professional role model for students, co-workers, and an ambassador for the club
Maintain good communications with the director of Golf, director of Instruction, fellow staff members, and all students
