About The Position

Responsible for our patrons’ experience on course, including the pace at a great rate, safety of each player per group and the overall safety of players on course. Pull and help stage golf cars and cruisers with the Bag Drop Attendant, ensuring we are prepped and ready to go for the day before tee-times begin for Starter/Ranger. Ensure all supplies for the position are gathered before getting to the 1st Tee on either course. Examples are tee-sheet, radio, pencils, scorecards, etc. Check on conditions of the 1st Hole, ensuring that all golf maintenance personnel is out of the way before sending play. Alerting our patrons of any change in conditions, i.e. frost delay, cart path only due to wetness, any safety precautions on course our guests may be presented with. Monitoring the pace of play after sending all players off the course, if there is a gap in tee-times allotted to do so. Protecting all course assets while assessing the courses, inclusive of safety of players on each hole, players not riding on the back of carts, keeping all extremities inside the cart, etc.

Requirements

  • Physical, mental and emotional stamina to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • Long Hours / shifts often required/weekends & holidays
  • Experience in hospitality or hotel field, previous golf experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license is required of the position
  • Service and Pro-Active attitude preferred.
