Job Description Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an on-call Golf Starter/Marshall for the beautiful Barton Creek Country Club at the Canyons Golf Course! Requirements

• Working knowledge of the game is strongly preferred
• Must have high standards for guest service and maintain a welcoming demeanor
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds of golf clubs/buckets of practice balls
• Must be able to operate a golf cart
• May be subjected to adverse conditions - rain, wind, sun, extreme heat and cold
• Must be able to operate golf cart, range picker, GPS and hand radio

Responsibilities

• To perform the duties of greeting, starting, club cleaning, picking range balls from the practice facility, and transferring clubs to various locations
• Participate in daily communication stand-up meetings
• Assist the coordination of outside services for golf tournaments
• Ensure consistent presentation according to Omni Hotels standards
• Assist with the protection of all assets including security of the guest's golf clubs and rental clubs
• Responsible for providing continuous detailing and maintenance to the golf course equipment and facility (e.g. golf carts, workstation, practice range, emptying trash receptacles, etc...)
