About The Position
Highland Park Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a Golf Shop Shift Lead! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the members and guests.
Requirements
- Knowledge of hospitality POS system application, hardware, and software
- Experience in multi-faceted golf or sales operations
- Cash handling experience, preferably at the management level
Responsibilities
- Assist with training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; address complaints and resolve problems
- Assist in the management of department members that may include, but are not limited to: Golf Operations staff, Cart Staff, and Building Maintenance
- Review current day's business levels in all operations and assign priorities as needed
- Relay pertinent information to key staff including Executive Chef, Beverage Manager, Dining Manager, Executive Offices, Concierge, and Membership Office as needed
- Assure that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate; assist in developing ongoing training programs
