About The Position

The Golf Shop Salesperson at TPC Sawgrass is responsible for providing exceptional service to Members and Guests in the Golf Shop, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable golf experience. This part-time role focuses on generating retail sales and assisting with various customer needs, while maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the shop. The position requires flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, especially during peak events like THE PLAYERS Championship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Thorough knowledge of general business practices, retail sales practices, and procedures, typically acquired through 1-2 years of similar experience.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist PGA TOUR players, members, and guests with their golfing needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
• Greet and welcome members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with members, guests, and fellow staff members.
• Answer questions and provide assistance and information to customers.
• Assist with the daily cleaning of the golf shop to ensure cleanliness and appearance.
• Professionally communicate information, sell merchandise, and become knowledgeable in all products and sales techniques.
• Anticipate the needs of members/guests and offer appropriate merchandise alternatives.
• Ensure displays are kept at par stock inventory levels and meet PGA TOUR standards.
• Complete special projects or other duties as assigned.
