About The Position

Join our team as a Golf Shop Attendant! This position Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, consistently delivering exceptional customer service, accurately processing guest fees, coordinating tee-time reservations, and maintaining product displays. Work hours may vary according to seasonal operational needs; evening and weekend shifts may be required. Pay & Schedule: $15.50-$17.00 Per Hour (DOQ) This is a Seasonal, non exempt position, hours are flexible and may vary by season. Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM-12:00 PM or 12:00 PM-6:00 PM. Saturday-Sunday: 6:00 AM-12:00 PM or 12:00 PM-6:00 PM

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience and an interest in and some knowledge of golf are preferred.
  • 16 years or older.
  • Provide positive customer service
  • Computer point-of-sale proficiency
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Problem solving
  • Active listening
  • Perform basic math for sales transaction handling
  • CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire

  • Required to walk on uneven golf course grounds.
  • Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and various golf and office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities are required, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Golf-Specific point-of-sale software experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of the rules of golf play

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
  • Coordinate with indoor and outdoor staff to maintain efficient flow of day-to-day operations.
  • Process guest transactions in accordance with operating procedures through proficient use of point-of-sales software and pre-paid card system; daily fee, rental, retail sales processing, program registration.
  • Answers telephones in accordance with customer service standards; directs inquiries to the appropriate individual as needed.
  • Ensure merchandise displays are stocked and presentable.
  • Follow rules and regulations that govern golf course usage and safety procedures.
  • Perform general administrative support functions as assigned.
  • Properly informs the manager of any decisions, problems, and/or occurrences that require attention.
  • Report any work-related or patron injuries or incidents, unsafe conditions to manager or supervisor and correct if appropriate; complete incident/accident report forms as needed.
  • Perform all job tasks in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
