About The Position

The Golf Shop Associate position is a seasonal role located at Snowshoe, WV, available from late May to the beginning of October, aligning with the winter ski and summer bike/golf seasons. The role involves providing exceptional service to guests, handling golf reservations, and assisting with retail operations. The position requires working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a pay rate of $15 per hour. The start date is mid-May, with positions available through the summer season.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and celebrate team successes to foster guest loyalty and maintain a positive attitude.
• Professionally answer the phone and handle guest check-ins and golf reservations.
• Promote teamwork by taking responsibility for personal actions and celebrating team achievements.
• Assist with retail operations, including merchandise check-ins, inventory, performance monitoring, and displays, using sales techniques to boost sales and satisfaction.
• Maintain effective communication with staff regarding course operations and HR issues; suggest improvements through appropriate channels.
• Contribute to team efforts and achieve related results as needed.
