Requirements
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy golf bags, and perform strenuous activities in various weather conditions including extreme heat.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality, perfect for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Passion for golf and a basic understanding of golf etiquette and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with a diverse range of guests and team members.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the resort and its guests.
Responsibilities
- Guest Interaction and Services: Greet golfers with enthusiasm and a warm smile, making them feel welcome and excited about their round. Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with club rentals, tee time coordination, and answering questions about the course.
- Equipment Handling and Assistance: Assist golfers with loading and unloading heavy golf bags onto carts, ensuring their equipment is ready for an unforgettable round. Maintain an organized and clean golf bag storage area for efficient bag retrieval.
- Course Presentation: Collaborate with the grounds team to ensure that golf carts are clean, stocked, and prepared for guests. Perform basic maintenance tasks on golf carts, such as cleaning windshields and checking tire pressure levels.
- Event Support: Assist with the setup and coordination of golf tournaments, outings, and events, contributing to the success of each occasion.
- Health and Safety: Uphold safety standards by adhering to proper lifting techniques and protocols for handling equipment. Endure varying weather conditions and maintain a positive attitude while working outdoors.
