About The Position

The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for – assisting the Professional Staff with all golf shop activities and is responsible for ensuring guests receive outstanding customer service, which meets or exceeds their expectations. The Golf Shop Attendant will play in integral role in maintaining the Pro Shop setup, guest service, organization, and cleanliness. All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
  • Sunseeker Resort performs criminal background checks on all candidates.
  • Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a private or resort club, preferably with golf background.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
  • Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
  • Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Specialize in member & guest satisfaction throughout the daily golf experience.
  • Coordinates member & guests special orders, and tee times.
  • Ensures all guests and Legacy members are greeted with a warm welcome to Aileron Golf Club.
  • Offer suggestions to help enhance the golfer experience.
  • Assist with delivering locker assignments and keys.
  • Provide detailed run through of campus and where the golfers may find their way around.
  • Update Professional Staff and Guest Services team of additions made throughout the day.
  • Assists to oversee the rental set inventory and equipment is maintained, updated, and functional.
  • Coordinate Transportation needs, and work closely with valet and service teams to ensure proper coverage is being maintained.
  • Clean shop floor as needed. Remove any unwanted debris/dirt from previous golfers.
  • Maintain shop displays and inventory levels on the floor.
  • Assist with daily staff schedules to ensure proper coverage based on play demands.
  • Participates in the Tournament Operations, retail and instruction with the Golf Academy given the status through the PGA Program.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
