Requirements

• Ability to operate a POS system and handle financial transactions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of golf equipment brands, specifications, and trends.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer telephones, addressing customer inquiries, providing information about golf products and services, and assisting with reservations or scheduling.
• Provide information about golf products, services, and promotions.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display.
• Receive, unpack, and label merchandise shipments.
• Keep track of inventory levels and report low stock items to the Golf Pro Shop Manager.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure products are properly displayed and priced.
• Implement merchandising strategies to optimize sales.
• Assist in creating eye-catching displays to attract customers.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the pro shop.
• Assist customers with equipment rentals and returns.
• Ensure rental equipment is in good condition and report any issues to the Golf Pro Shop Manager.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for the upkeep of rental sets.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
• Schedule golf lessons and manage appointments for the golf professionals.
