Golf Outside Services Staff

About The Position

To ensure the complete satisfaction of the members and guests at Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club by exceeding their expectations with attention to detail and courteous service.

Requirements

Valid drivers’ license and capable of driving a golf cart.
Ability to interact daily with members and handle challenging customer relations issues.
Willing to work various shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

Communicate on a daily basis with Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professionals and Outside Services team about the day’s events and operations.
Assure golf carts are cleaned and washed per club procedures.
Restock and rotate carts based on what carts went out that day.
Charge all carts on a daily basis.
Maintain clean towels, including washing, drying, and folding.
Help Practice Range Attendant with the set-up of hitting stations (buckets).
Laser yardages and change distances daily.
Follow hitting area rotation schedule.
Restock buckets and pick range when needed.
Maintain chipping area and putting green.
Fill clean buckets of balls in evening in preparation for next day’s opening shift.
Check oil in picker monthly.
Set up members and guest’s bags for play.
Put away member and guest bags in proper storage location and in timely fashion.
Maintain rental set inventory by keeping clubs and bags clean.
Update guest storage board daily.
Greet members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Load bags and move carts to cart staging area.
Give directions to the Golf Shop and after check-in direct players to club amenities.
Keep the staging area well stocked with carts throughout the day.
Clean all players’ golf clubs thoroughly.
Assure that all bags are tagged properly.
Provide information on club policies and procedures, upcoming events, and rules of the day to members.
Load bags into vehicle and thank members and guests for playing.
Put bottled water in vehicles for the number of people leaving.
Work various hours, holidays, weekends, and long hours on your feet.
