About The Position

Fairway Hills Golf Club is seeking a Full-Time Golf Course Maintenance Technician 2. He or she will be responsible for operating large motorized power mowing equipment, as well as operating a wide variety of hand and power tools and light equipment necessary for the maintenance of CA’s two golf courses. They will assist in installing, repairing and maintaining sprinkler and drainage systems and must be able to follow the Golf Course Maintenance Standards. He or she must be able perform manual labor tasks involving lifting 60 pound bags of fertilizer or seed, digging or raking using hand tools, bending frequently to perform various tasks and operating small equipment requiring pushing and pulling. A high school diploma is preferred as well as previous equipment operations experience and Golf course maintenance experience. He or she should have the ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb without any difficulty, able to lift up to 60 pounds and the ability to work in all weather conditions (extreme cold/extreme heat, rain, snow, etc). The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role.
