About The Position

Wild Rock Golf Club is currently seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our Agronomy Team as an Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will play a key role in daily maintenance operations and will gain hands-on experience essential for advancing a career in golf course management. About the Internship: Interns will work alongside our experienced maintenance staff and be involved in all aspects of golf course management, including: Maintenance of USGA Bent/Poa greens. Chemical and fertilizer applications. Irrigation repair, troubleshooting, and daily setup. Water management strategies. Basic equipment repair. Daily course set up. Exposure to a full range of agronomic practices used at top-tier facilities. This internship is designed to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to take the next step in their professional development. About Wild Rock Golf Club: Open in 2008, Wild Rock Golf Club is part of the Wilderness Territory and has been recognized by both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as one of the top ten best new courses in the country. Designed by Dr. Mike Hurdzan and Dana Fry, Wild Rock is a true championship layout stretching 7,400 yards from back of tees. In addition to our 18-hole championship course, we offer The Woods Course, a nine-hole short course suitable for players of all skill levels. The Wilderness Territory includes Wilderness Resort, Glacier Canyon Lodge, Wilderness on the Lake, and Sundara Spa. Current Projects: Wadsworth Golf Course Construction completed a full bunker renovation in April 2025, installing Capillary Concrete liners and Fredonia sand throughout the course. We are also engaged in a major tree-removal and property-enhancement project - making this an exciting time to join our team. Position Details: Hourly Position: 40 to 45 hours per week Schedule: Early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
