About The Position

The Golf Locker Building Attendant provides service in all areas of the locker building to club members and their guests. They are responsible for completing the setup, cleanup, and execution of services for members as assigned by management. They effectively, efficiently, and proactively enhance the member experience by providing thoughtful and personalized service. This position is member-facing and works diligently to meet and exceed their expectations. Compensation Range: $20-$22/hr. based on experience

Requirements

  • Prior F&B hospitality or private club experience is preferred.
  • Basic Food and Beverage knowledge.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment, while upholding club service standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Strong service awareness with the ability to anticipate and proactively respond to member and guest needs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the locker room amenities and services, with the ability to confidently assist members.
  • Working knowledge of the Club’s dining outlets, amenities, history, golf, sporting activities, with the ability to confidently assist and direct members as needed.
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English conversationally
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Properly greet members and their guests upon arrival at the Locker Building.
  • Assists with the cleaning and tidiness of indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Direct or escort members and their guests to their lockers, if requested or assigned.
  • Perform daily service tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning and shining of Men’s and Women’s golf and dress shoes, beverage and snack station setup, and tidying and restocking of bathrooms.
  • Assist members by taking beverage orders on the Locker Terrace or in the Men’s Sitting area.
  • Ensure the accurate billing of items through the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all member-facing and staff areas.
  • Perform the setup and breakdown of special events as described in event writeups or assigned by manager.
  • Accurately completes opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Communicate courteously and politely with members, their guests, and fellow team members needs.
  • Additional duties/projects assigned by management
