About The Position

This is a Part-Time position for the duration of the Golf Season. We are simply looking for a candidate to water dry areas on the Golf Course!

Requirements

• Knowledge of watering turfgrass and/or the ability to learn quickly.
• Understanding the basics of golf.
• Basic experience with watering systems or the ability to learn.
• Must have normal color vision
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
• Frequently required to use hands and arms to operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Frequently required to walk, sit, and communicate.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift weights up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Pull hoses and set sprinklers on dry areas throughout the Golf Course.
• Will be using a utility vehicle to move hoses and sprinklers to areas in need of watering.
• Some hand watering will be needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and memorize location of valves throughout the course.
• Understand the etiquette of golf and be aware of customers playing golf.
• Must be courteous and understanding with customers.
• Needs to have good verbal skills when interacting with customers.
