About The Position

As a Resort Restaurant Server, you play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your primary responsibility is to provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring the satisfaction of our patrons. This position involves a combination of customer interaction, menu knowledge, and teamwork in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
  • The position requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
  • This position requires the ability to stand, walk (6-7 hours at a time), and climb stairs, reach & bend.
  • The position may require the service of wine so therefore the position requires the employee to be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED or one (1) year equivalent experience
  • Have basic knowledge of wine and wine/food service

Responsibilities

  • The position assists in setting restaurant for service (pre-service, water, etc. as required)
  • Properly busses & follows up with drink refills and other service requests
  • Be prompt and efficient when serving courses to the tables.
  • Be knowledgeable about the menu being served and be able to describe and explain ingredients, and preparation of any food presented.
  • Perform final clearing of tables, complete breakdown of functions and events; which includes resetting as needed at the end of functions.
  • Assist in performing closing duties as indicated on the banquet-closing sheet.
  • Resolve guest issues as quickly as possible and communicate all problems to outlet supervisor or manager immediately.
  • Maintain knowledge of the entire resort and area to assist guests with questions about the resort.
