About The Position

GOLF COURSE MARSHAL- GOLF DIVISION DEPARTMENT: Public Services DIVISION: Golf WORK HOURS: Very Flexible Part-Time Schedules. Shifts can be negotiated/discussed in the interview. Hours of operation are from 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. RATE OF PAY: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour. Wage dependent on prior experience as a Golf Course Marshal. EMPLOYMENT MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MUST HAVE A VALID UTAH DRIVER'S LICENSE Must be able to read and write. Knowledge of general golf course rules and regulations based on your own playing experiences. Position will assist golf course Professional and Starter with managing pace of play on the golf course and customer behavior as it applies to operating a golf cart. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Knowledge of golf course policies and pace of play best practices. Must be able to follow work schedule. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Include but are not limited to prolonged standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling. Must be able to see and hear and speak. Will be required to work inclement weather conditions. CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK Successful applicant must pass background check.
