Golf Course Maintenance Wage: $15.00 - $18.00 Hourly (Golf Benefits Included) GENERAL PURPOSE Performs a variety of entry level, semi-skilled duties related to the mowing and maintenance of golf course greens, tees, roughs and fairways. Workers in this classification will typically be employed on a part-time or seasonal basis. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the general supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operates gang mowers as needed to mow various sections of the golf course, including tees, greens, fairways, and rough; trims and edges lawns throughout the golf course; repairs turf; cuts and cleans up uncontrolled weeds and brush. Performs general landscaping duties; grooms terrain according to landscaping designs and specifications; places structural materials for beautification such as rocks, boulders, paving brick, etc.; plants trees, shrubs, flowers; performs related environ maintenance and upkeep. Monitors general condition of the golf course; picks up garbage, maintains water coolers; services ball washers, rakes and grooms bunkers; cleans and maintains restrooms. Performs other related duties as required.
