Madden’s is currently seeking Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance team members. These positions will assist in performing a diverse range of golf course maintenance duties. This position plays a key role in delivering consistent playing conditions and supporting the standards of a championship golf facility.

Golf Course knowledge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Performs general golf course maintenance using hand tools and powered equipment.
Operates walking and riding mowing equipment including greens mowers, tee mowers, fairway units, and rough mowers as assigned.
Positions may be focused on routine mowing assignments, detailed work, or broader maintenance responsibilities depending on experience and capability.
Operates various equipment including blowers, rollers, mowers, and turf maintenance machinery as assigned.
Performs detailed tasks such as string trimming, edging, and debris cleanup.
Rakes and maintains sand bunkers to established standards.
Assists with daily course setup including cup cutting, tee marker placement, and other presentation duties.
Assists with hand watering and irrigation-related support as directed.
Participates in cultural practices including aerification, topdressing, and related turf maintenance operations.
Assists with project work including sod installation, trenching, plugging, and general course improvements.
Operates utility vehicles for hauling materials and debris removal.
Maintains flexibility to rotate between tasks and responsibilities based on course needs and staffing priorities.
Operates equipment safely and remains aware of surrounding team members and work areas.
Attend staff meetings and maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Performs additional duties as required to support golf course operations.
Understands and adheres to Madden’s Smoking and Tobacco Products policy.
Weekend shifts are required at the discretion of the Assistant Superintendent.
Assists with seasonal operations such as leaf cleanup, mulching, and storm-related tasks.
Takes pride in course presentation and understands how individual performance contributes to team success and overall course quality.
