Colonial Country Club is a historic 18-hole championship golf facility located in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. Founded in 1936 by Marvin Leonard to bring bentgrass greens to the South, the course was designed by John Bredemus and Perry Maxwell. Colonial has hosted the 1941 U.S. Open and is home to the longest-running annual PGA Tour event held at a single site, currently known as the Charles Schwab Challenge. The golf course has recently completed a major renovation led by Hanse Golf Course Design, positioning Colonial for continued excellence and championship-level playing conditions. Colonial Country Club is seeking Golf Course Maintenance Interns for the 2026 season. This internship is designed for individuals with a strong work ethic, a team-first mindset, and a desire to build a career in the turfgrass management industry. Interns will work closely with the Director of Agronomy, Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and Agronomy staff to gain hands-on experience in maintaining championship conditions in the Southern United States. This role provides exposure to daily golf course operations, tournament preparation, and the execution of a major renovation.
