Interns can expect to be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance and will play a major role on our team. Interns can expect to gain experience in daily course setup, mower operation, fertilizer and pesticide application and calibration, irrigation maintenance and repair, topdressing and aerification, and crew management. Interns must be self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals that are aspiring to be managers in the turf field. Work is performed on an 18-hole private golf course, with T-1 Creeping Bengrass on the Greens. Perennial Ryegrass on the Tees. Kentucky Bluegrass on the Fairways. The Club averages 10,000 rounds of golf per season and an annual maintenance budget of $1.6 million.
