About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is day-to-day operations to maintain golf courses.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required and enrolled in a 2 year or 4 year program for Agronomy Turf Grass Management.
Responsibilities
- Course set up duties to present proper tee marker positions and hole locations.
- Set up duties also involve litter and waste removal, ball washer maintenance and general care and upkeep of course amenities.
- Mowing and grooming; keep up playability and high quality appearance. Walking and riding equipment.
- Hand water turf; requires moving hoses manually and recognizing wilt conditions. This task is essential to keeping healthy turf.
- Hand labor; including raking, shoveling, pushing and divot repair to groom the course
