Are you ready to be part of a team that keeps our golf course in top condition? Dundee Township Park District is looking for Seasonal Golf Groundskeepers to help maintain our course, ensuring it is safe, playable, and visually outstanding for all guests! What You’ll Do As a Golf Groundskeeper / Laborer, you’ll: Mow greens, tees, collars, fairways, roughs, banks, and clubhouse grounds Trim around trees, shrubs, ponds, and landscaped areas Rake and edge sand bunkers using hand tools and equipment Assist with aeration, verticutting, spiking, and top-dressing of turf areas Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, seeders, sod cutters, and leaf removal tools Water turf and assist with irrigation and drainage installation and repairs Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and maintain landscape beds and mulch Prepare areas for turf establishment, including seeding and laying sod Clean, refuel, and properly store equipment after use Report equipment issues promptly Follow all safety policies and use required PPE Assist with golf course improvement projects and other Park District needs Who You Are You’re a dependable and motivated team player with: A passion for working outdoors and maintaining high-quality grounds Ability to safely operate motorized turf equipment (preferred) Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and work ethic Ability to follow written and verbal directions Physical strength, stamina, and agility for manual labor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus
