About The Position

The Golf Course Equipment Mechanic will assist in maintaining and repairing all golf course maintenance equipment, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of mechanical experience preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in small engine repair and/or turf equipment preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong organizational skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use logical and scientific thinking to troubleshoot issues
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic (fractions, decimals, and percentages)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting 50+ lbs. regularly

Responsibilities

• Assist the Equipment Manager with preventative and corrective maintenance of golf course equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
• Complete and update daily service records in the Golf Course Management System
• Support the Greens and Grounds Team in daily operations
