Responsibilities: Check IDs of golfers & guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol; dispense alcohol consistent with state regulations. Limit problems & liability related to guests excessive drinking by not overserving alcohol or calling the shuttle or other transportation for intoxicated patrons. Keep the bar and beverage cart stocked with liquor, wine, beer, mixes & disposables. Maintain a safe, clean, organized and stocked bar area. Put away and rotate all stock (beer, pop, wine, liquor, etc.). Practice FIFO (first-in first-out) method of inventory control. Make sure all garnishes are stocked, fresh, and presentable. Serve food to customers seated at the bar. Ensure all products are always stored and secured properly. Perform all opening and closing side work as required. Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently. Rotating shifts will include operating the mobile beverage cart on the Thoroughbred Golf Course. Ensure the safety of both guests and yourself while operating the beverage cart, following all safety protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. QualificationsQualifications: TIPS / SureSell Certified or willing to obtain 2 years of bartending experience Enjoy an outdoor setting with a beautiful view Excellent customer service skills Basic math/ cash handling skills POS knowledge preferred Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 25 pounds. Must be at least 18 years old
