At PGA TOUR Superstore, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, and the Golf Club Repair Associate plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. Reporting to the Experience Manager, the Club Repair Associate collaborates with all retail store associates to ensure that every customer receives the best possible service. This position is not just about repairing golf clubs; it is about building lasting relationships with our customers and enhancing their overall experience in our store. The Club Repair Associate will work closely with the Services Supervisor to address any issues that arise and to continually improve the processes at the Club Repair Desk. The Club Repair Associate's responsibilities include processing various retail transactions, such as returns, exchanges, and gift card redemptions, while also measuring lie and loft angles and making necessary adjustments using specialized equipment. They will be responsible for measuring club height, weight, and shaft flex, and making equipment changes based on customer requests. Additionally, the associate will change golf shafts, grips, and repair broken heads, ensuring that all Club Repair work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Maintaining a clean and professional presentation at the Club Repair Desk is essential, as is staying current with new golf technologies and equipment features. The Club Repair Associate must also be proactive in identifying low-stock or out-of-stock items and notifying their Supervisor to ensure that the Club Repair Desk is always well-stocked. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business and our customers.
