About The Position

The Club Fitter and Builder at LA Golf is responsible for fitting and constructing custom golf clubs tailored to individual customer needs. This role involves maintaining and repairing existing clubs, ensuring a high level of customer service, and staying informed about the latest trends in golf club design and manufacturing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a club fitter and builder
• Strong knowledge of golf club design, manufacturing, and fitting principles
• Experience with club fitting systems and software
• Excellent hand skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with golf swing analysis and ball flight principles
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, physics) preferred

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of materials science and metallurgy
• Certification as a club fitter or builder from a recognized organization

Responsibilities

• Fit and build custom golf clubs for customers, including woods, irons, and putters
• Share product knowledge while making personal recommendations based on talent and skill level
• Work one-on-one with guests to ensure a positive club fitting experience
• Maintain and repair existing clubs, including re-shafting, re-gripping, and other modifications
• Work as a team to provide the highest level of service to guests
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in golf club design and manufacturing
• Provide exceptional customer service and support
• Frequent travel required
