About The Position

The Golf Cart Valet plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests at golf courses and related venues by managing the safe and efficient operation of golf carts. This position involves greeting guests, assisting with the loading and unloading of golf equipment, and providing courteous and professional service throughout their visit. The Golf Cart Valet is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of all golf carts, performing routine inspections, and reporting any maintenance needs promptly. By facilitating smooth transportation around the course, the valet helps enhance overall customer satisfaction and supports the daily operations of the facility. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate golf carts safely and responsibly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading golf equipment and to be on feet for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols related to vehicle operation and guest interaction.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a customer service or valet role, preferably in a golf or hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with golf course operations and etiquette.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor golf cart maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate peak golf course usage.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with golf cart usage, including loading and unloading golf bags and equipment.
• Operate golf carts safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and course policies.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on golf carts to ensure they are clean, charged, and in good working condition.
• Coordinate the distribution and collection of golf carts to maintain smooth flow and availability throughout the day.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of cart usage and report any damages or operational issues to management.
• Assist with general upkeep of the golf cart storage area and surrounding facilities to ensure a tidy and organized environment.
