About The Position
The JACK'd Carts Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, servicing, and installing customizations on golf carts sold and serviced by the company. A significant aspect of this role involves building and installing custom audio systems for both online orders and the golf carts sold by JACK'd Carts. The technician will troubleshoot various issues, aiming to maximize the reliability, functionality, and efficiency of the golf carts. An ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of the complex mechanical and electrical systems associated with golf carts. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential, as the technician will need to communicate effectively with customers, providing them with advice, guidance, and exceptional customer service support. In this role, the technician will perform essential functions such as inspecting mechanical and electrical components of the carts to accurately diagnose issues, conducting routine maintenance work, and repairing or replacing broken parts. The technician will also be responsible for providing accurate estimates for repair or maintenance jobs, keeping logs of work performed, and maintaining tools and equipment in good condition. Additionally, the technician will be required to provide email and phone support to customers as needed and complete warranty repairs while tracking parts used. This position requires a proactive approach to work, with the ability to complete service jobs and warranty work with minimal supervision, as well as assisting in the loading and unloading of golf carts from delivery trucks.
