Golf - Cart Attendant Part-Time
About The Position
The Golf Cart Attendant is responsible for providing guests with luxury service. Duties include cleaning and washing golf carts, maintaining organized cart barn and reporting necessary repairs and issues to the Golf Course Mechanic. Greeting guests in accordance with OVI standards. Loading and unloading golf carts. STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, other associates or guests.
Requirements
- Possess a positive, outgoing and friendly personality.
- Valid CA drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work without direct daily supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a hospitality/golf industry in similar position.
- Experience in guest/customer service.
- Knowledge of the rules and etiquette of golf.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and clean golf carts.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cart barn.
- Report maintenance issues to Golf Course Mechanic.
- Exude a warm and sincere approach to guest service.
- Anticipate and identify problem sources and resolutions.
- Assist staff in closing procedures.
