About The Position

The Golf Attendant position at Snowshoe, WV, is a seasonal role available from late May to the beginning of October, aligning with the winter ski and summer bike seasons. The job involves providing exceptional service to guests at the Raven Golf Course, which is known for its beautiful scenery and challenging layout. Employees will be responsible for maintaining the golf course and practice facilities, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting guests with their needs. The position requires working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a pay rate of $8.75 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 years of experience in a similar customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Washes golf carts after each use and keeps the practice facility clean.
• Parks carts, keeps work areas tidy, and removes trash and branches from the driving range and golf course.
• Fills divots and drags fairways as needed.
• Provides excellent guest service by welcoming guests, cleaning and storing clubs, and anticipating guest needs.
• Resolves challenges proactively and takes responsibility for actions.
• Promotes team play by recognizing fellow team members and following Alterra golf policies.
• Maintains communication with staff about operations and human resources, and suggests improvements.
• Ensures facility cleanliness by picking up trash, restocking, and vacuuming the clubhouse.
• Contributes to team efforts and accomplishes related tasks as needed.
