Requirements

Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
Customer service and/or golf experience of at least 1 year is required.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc.
Exposure to various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine, heat, and rain.
Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull at least 50lbs.

Responsibilities

Arrives ready to support the Reunion Resort Culture and provides excellent guest service experience
Coordinates all golf play on each course with direction from the golf shop
Responsible for keeping good record of cart numbers and players on the master tee sheet
Greets all guests and members with surname (Mr./Mrs./Ms.), confirms tee time (receipt), escorts guests to their golf carts, and ensures guests are on time for their tee time
Ensures that podium and “shack” stay clean and organized
Assists golfers with information that may help them play the course such as rules, yardage markers, location of rest stations, areas to avoid with carts, etc.
Reminds golfers to add sand to divots, repair ball marks, and rake sand traps
Monitors on-course activities and report all infractions to Starter
Replaces empty sand bottles and replenish as necessary
Monitors cleanliness of receptacles as well as facilities, daily and as necessary
Monitors and maintains golf course markings including hazard stakes, out of bounds stakes, tee signs, yardage balls, and distance signs
Maintains knowledge of emergency procedures, location of emergency equipment, and reporting procedures
Provides emergency assistance to golfers and other guests as necessary
Assists golf shop staff in preparing for and running tournaments, clinics and other special events
Polices the grounds by picking up garbage, trash and fallen debris on the course and around the buildings and parking lots
Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
Assist with training and coaching as needed
Ensure inventory is up-to-date at all times
Completing any other task/duties assigned
