Plans, coordinates and implements program ideas and activities such as social and educational events offered to Golden Opportunity members. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent OR 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 years related experience, to include exceptional marketing and sales experience
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry, retrieval of information and creating flyers and/or artistic displays.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally in large group setting.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications including Microsoft Office and preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously working with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work variable hours, such as extended shifts.
  • Ability to move throughout facilities.
  • Reliable transportation to travel locally, ability to travel overnight if required and extended travel one week per year.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow GO membership through offered programs, activities and events, and community outreach.
  • Manage marketing and outreach in the community by building and maintaining relationships with diverse groups such as physicians, partners, vendors, and volunteers.
  • Maintain confidential program records including the GO membership database, GO Cloud, trip and activity related records including the financial accounting and required program reporting.
  • Plan and schedule GO members program events including contract negotiation with vendors and coordinating safe member transportation for each meeting or event.
  • Provide GO member support via office phone, cell phone, email, and in person within 24 hours of initial communication.
  • Maintain accurate financial deposits and profit/loss reports.
  • Other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
