About The Position

Gold's Gym is looking for a Front Desk Fitness Consultant who will be responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members, as well as selling renewals and upgrades to current gym members. This position requires working the overnight shift and involves generating sales through various outreach methods, maintaining accurate records, conducting gym tours, and following up on prospects using established sales systems. The Fitness Consultant must be knowledgeable about the gym's pricing, promotions, and policies, and will participate in training courses to develop their selling skills. The role also emphasizes maintaining positive relationships with staff and supporting team goals.

Responsibilities

• Generates sales through Company-sponsored (walk-ins and TI's) and employee sponsored (outreach and promotions).
• Maintains accurate records of all Company-sponsored and employee-sponsored sales.
• Follows up on all prospects by using established Gold's Gym sales systems.
• Conducts gym tours using established Gold's Gym sales systems.
• Conducts telephone inquiries using established Gold's Gym sales systems.
• Stays current on Gold's Gym Company pricing and promotion schedule.
• Maintains information on club history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff and policies.
• Adheres to and enforces Company policies and procedures as they pertain to gym operations.
• Develops selling skills and maintains a positive relationship with the rest of the staff.
• Participates in all scheduled meetings as directed by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Successfully completes the FC Training courses.
