About The Position

Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of an 'Promotions Assistant' for Gold Dust West Carson City. This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book the ever-popular Grille Restaurant.

Requirements

• Must have strong communication and public speaking skills, including proficiency in using a microphone to make overhead promotional announcements
• Ability to understand and navigate slot tracking, promotional, and slot tournament software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
• Anti-Money Laundering Compliance required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience required
• Gaming experience preferred
• Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist in execution of on-floor promotions and events
• Establish relationships and create goodwill with guests
• Increase Club Card utilization on the casino floor by signing up new guests and reminding existing guests to use their cards
• Thorough understanding of all Club benefits, including premium club requirements and benefits
• Ability to interact with players on casino floor and discuss club benefits
• Perform administrative duties as required, such as internal mailing, inventory, etc.
