About The Position

Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of an “Marketing Coordinator” for Gold Dust West Carson City. This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book the ever-popular Grille Restaurant.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and Equivalent Work Experience
• Customer service experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
• Public speaking/microphone voice preferred
• Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and conducting all current and upcoming special events, promotions, tournaments, and casino marketing activities and programs.
• Act as a personal casino host to Gold Rewards Club Players, maintaining contact as directed by the Carson City Marketing Manager.
• Resolve any problems or perceived inconveniences to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist in hosting parties including monthly birthday parties, drawings, holiday parties, and Premium parties.
• Make reservations for guest rooms, entertainment, dining, attractions, and other accommodations as needed.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all marketing systems including IGT Patron and Kiosk (PKMS).
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all marketing programs and procedures.
