About The Position

The Senior Manager for Go to Channel at Verizon is responsible for supporting the Atlantic South Market by evaluating and creating readiness plans that align with market needs. This role involves advocating for sales teams, analyzing operational workflows, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective execution of business goals through new initiatives. The position requires strong leadership in developing strategies for training, communication, and post-launch analysis, while also managing relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant sales planning or sales marketing experience.
  • Two years or more experience working in retail sales.
  • Proven ability to distill large amounts of data into actionable summaries for executive presentation.
  • Experience creating and presenting executive level presentations.
  • Proven ability to foster and manage strategic partnerships.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's degree.
  • Four or more years of Retail Sales leadership experience.
  • Two years or more experience in communications or communications strategy.
  • Experience working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Experience in retail marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Go to Channel needs for the Atlantic South Market.
  • Evaluate readiness plans to ensure they meet market needs.
  • Create and present additional readiness plans/tactics for market-specific needs.
  • Provide readiness updates and support to market leaders.
  • Advocate for sales teams and analyze ways of working.
  • Align with key stakeholders to assist Leadership and Frontline sales teams in achieving business goals.
  • Work cross-functionally to define sales priorities and create actionable plans for sales leadership teams.
  • Lead the strategy, design, and development of launch readiness plans including training and communication.
  • Monitor initiative changes and adjust to field/leader level information.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and forge cross-functional partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain visually appealing presentations for leaders and field partners.
  • Lead engaging presentations to drive engagement in key initiatives.
