We’re looking to expand our team across the board. York Space Systems is looking for a talented GNC/ACS Engineer who will support the design and creation of these aerospace technologies and contribute to the growth and development of the ACS team. This individual will work across a multitude of programs and have a direct influence on both commercial and national missions. Aerospace specific experience is desired, but not an absolute requirement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or a related technical field required.
• 4-8 years of experience as an ACS and/or GNC Engineer.
• Experience using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Demonstrates self-initiated work in a team environment.
• Strong communicator, great team player.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree desired.
• Aerospace specific experience is desired, but not an absolute requirement.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and development of algorithms, simulation, and system models.
• Performing and supporting hands on hardware-in-the-loop test.
• Conducting requirement verification and flow-down to GNC components.
• Supporting mission operations and anomaly resolution using satellite telemetry.
• Interface with other internal product and engineering teams to ensure mission objectives are understood and supported by product design.
• Preparing for and presenting at Design Reviews internally and with the end customer.
• Working with GNC hardware suppliers and internal supply chain teams to drive and support procurement.
