About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Clean Room Technician to join our Operations and Maintenance Team. This position is responsible for providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing emergency and preventive maintenance and repairs on the building equipment, fixtures and systems in a manufacturing environment including clean rooms. Responsibilities: Perform repair of doors, flooring, ceiling, lighting, hard surfaces, walls, and fixtures. Provide planning and coordination of work within the factory environment to reduce impacts and ensure safety. Perform inspections of factory areas to identify discrepancies and facilitate their repair. Perform periodic collection of data like factory temperature and humidity levels. Provide coordination of needed vendor support for certain repairs. Perform needed written and verbal communications with customers and factory and facilities management. Maintains appropriate service repair work order records electronically. Researches and inventories equipment parts and supplies. Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service. Assists and serves as back-up to other Facilities employees. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are adhered to. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or demonstrated equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.
  • This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment background check and substance abuse test.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of all types and kinds of hand and power tools, air measuring instruments, various refrigeration equipment, various electrical meters, meggers, and shop equipment.
  • Experience working in a CMMS environment.
