About The Position
The Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Global Manufacturing Technology (GMT) Sustainability Senior Scientist will focus on impurity identification and control driven by regulatory changes including GL10 and REACH, and support product and process sustainability across the portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a broad expertise in analytical technology and be proficient in small molecule process development. The role will be accountable to develop analytical methods to meet product characterization and quantification goals. In addition, the candidate will provide analytical expertise to support the development of effective process control strategies and/or new manufacturing routes. The successful candidate will serve as an API SME on the Zoetis Chemical Regulatory Monitoring Steering Committee (CRMSC). As a member of the CRMSC, the candidate will focus on the impact of new chemical regulations on API manufacturing processes. In addition, the candidate will be the primary interface with the Veterinary Medicine Research and Development (VMRD) Clinical Pharmacology and Safety Sciences team.
