Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair within a commercial or industrial facility.
Proficient knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
A strong commitment to safety and adhering to all applicable regulations and standards.

Nice To Haves

Technical certification or relevant trade qualifications in mechanical systems or a related field.
Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices.
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and prioritize workload effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on process and mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes and implement timely solutions.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance strategies that optimize operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to carry out specialized repairs and installations as required.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency, and safety standards.
