Position Overview: Reporting to Manufacturing Management, the GMP Cleaning Technician role primarily focuses on the daily execution and compliance of the cleaning activities for the GMP suites with responsibility maintaining key aspects of good cleaning practices and good documentation practices. Key Responsibilities: GMP Compliance: · Ensure all cleaning activities are conducted in accordance with GMP regulations, SOPs, and industry best practices. · Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including logs, checklists, and documentation. · Participate in audits and inspections, addressing any discrepancies or non-conformances. · Stay up-to-date on the latest GMP regulations and industry standards. Cleaning and Sanitation: · Oversee and perform the cleaning and sanitation of GMP areas, including production areas and support areas. · Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies. · Maintain cleaning chemical supply using a first expiry first out (FEFO) approach. · Implement and maintain effective cleaning and sanitation protocols to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean and safe environment. · Monitor, restock, and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels. · Monitor, restock, and manage the inventory of clean room gowning levels. Safety and Health: · Promote a safe and healthy work environment for cleaning staff. · Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures. · Identify and address potential hazards and risks. · Provide training on safety procedures and chemical handling. Documentation and Reporting: · Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including logs, checklists, and documentation. · Prepare reports on cleaning activities, performance, and compliance. · Communicate effectively with management and other departments. · Review cleaning documentation daily for accurate, legible, and consistent entries. · Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: · Education: High school diploma or equivalent. · Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a GMP environment preferred. · Knowledge: Understanding of GMP regulations and industry best practices is preferred. · Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. · Other: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks. · Preferred: Experience cleaning in a GMP environment, knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedure
