The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Data Manager and MedHub Superuser at UCLA Health plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with ACGME institutional and program requirements. This position involves collaboration with the GME team to support the planning and implementation of evaluations and surveys related to GME. The Data Manager will be responsible for the design, deployment, and analysis of both current and new evaluation instruments, providing measurement expertise to training program leadership in alignment with ACGME requirements and milestones. In addition to evaluation support, the Data Manager will provide training for program staff on the MedHub residency management system, focusing on creating evaluations, generating reports, and performing other functions essential for maintaining data validity. The role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, building, analyzing, synthesizing, interpreting, and reporting on complex psychometric instruments across various settings and stakeholders, including the Dean, GME Committee, and departmental leadership. Effective communication and trust development with faculty, staff, and trainees at the David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM) and affiliate training sites are integral to driving data-informed change. The Data Manager will also be available for collaborative projects with the DGSOM Educational Measurement Unit, ensuring that GME efforts are supported through effective data management and analysis.
