This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting engine and system issues, and ensuring all work meets safety and performance standards. The role often involves working with heavy-duty trucks, buses, and road vehicles. Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with diagnostic tools, and knowledge of transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems are essential.

- A high school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; prior related experience preferred.
- A current valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
- Ability to commute/relocate: Albuquerque, NM 87107: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Responsibilities
- Proper diagnosis of all transmissions
- Timely and efficient repairs
- Accurate completion of all repairs
- Test driving vehicles to ensure proper operation
- May perform non-transmission related repairs as needed
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with other employees
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
