About The Position

IPSY is the beauty industry’s most powerful platform, with millions of members engaging with our products and content every month. We are now building the IPSY Media Network — a retail media business designed to help brand partners reach highly engaged beauty enthusiasts, drive awareness, and convert sales by leveraging IPSY’s unique customer data and community. This senior media sales and strategy leader will launch, grow, and scale the IPSY Media Network. This is a rare opportunity to build a new business unit from the ground up inside one of the most dynamic companies in beauty and subscription commerce. This leader will be responsible for setting the vision, shaping the go-to-market strategy, building best-in-class offerings, and delivering revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in media sales, retail media networks, or digital advertising, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling new revenue streams or business units in a scrappy, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Deep relationships with media agencies, brand advertisers, and decision-makers across beauty, lifestyle, or CPG.
  • Strong knowledge of media packaging, pricing strategy, and campaign optimization.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills; able to position IPSY as a leader in retail media and beauty marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in team-building, talent development, and organizational leadership.
  • Experience in beauty, retail media, or e-commerce highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build & Scale IPSY Media Network: Launch and grow IPSY’s Media Network, owning both the commercial strategy and execution.
  • Sales Leadership: Drive revenue by generating leads, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with brand partners and agencies.
  • Go-to-Market & Positioning: Develop and productize offerings, create compelling narratives for the marketplace, and highlight the unique power of IPSY’s customer data.
  • Strategic Storytelling: Build thought leadership and visibility for IPSY in the beauty and retail media space through case studies, market-facing materials, and industry presence.
  • Team Building: Recruit, manage, and inspire a high-performing team across sales, account management, and operations.
  • Infrastructure & Repeatability: Design scalable processes, playbooks, and performance measurement frameworks to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, operations, and analytics teams to ensure offerings align with brand and consumer needs.
